Penetrating concrete sealers

Penetrating concrete sealers do just as their name suggests: they penetrate into concrete reaching depths of up to an inch. Once applied the surface appearance and texture of the substrate remains unchanged and natural. Penetrating concrete sealers are able to waterproof concrete, protect against deicing salt damage, resist staining, and strengthen concrete. These breathable sealers allow vapors to escape without trapping moisture; ensuring the sealer will not delaminate from the concrete.

SILOXA-TEK® 8510

The Siloxa-Tek 8510 is our deepest penetrating and longest lasting penetrating concrete sealer. This high actives product is able to resist deicing salts and makes oil and grease stains easier to clean

 

The Siloxa-Tek 8510 is our flagship concrete sealer and a triple threat when it comes to protecting against water intrusion, resisting deicing salt damage (spalling, cracking) and offering stain resistance from oils and greases. Because of the small amount of solvent carrier, this high actives penetrating sealer is the deepest penetrating and longest lasting sealer in the Siloxa-Tek line.

Available only in a ready to use version, two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet with a solvent rated sprayer, roller or brush. The concrete retains its natural, flat finish after sealing.

To increase the strength and performance of the Siloxa-Tek 8510, apply one coat of the Lithi-Tek 4500 five to seven days prior to sealing with the Siloxa-Tek 8510. Only use the Lithi-Tek 4500 as a primer on poured concrete.

The Micro-Degreaser 1100 can be used to degrease and remove soils and stains prior to using the Siloxa-Tek 8510. 

SILOXA-TEK® 8505

The water-based version of the Siloxa-Tek 8510 is the Siloxa-Tek 8505. It features low VOCs and is compliant in all 50 states

 

We took our favorite all-around, concrete sealer and made it even better. Take all the best attributes of 8500 - resists water intrusion, deicing salts and chlorides and add to it resistance from staining making it an even better choice. The same stain resistance technology found in the 8510 is also in this water based product, making light oil and grease stains easier to clean. The main difference between the 8510 and the 8505 is that the 8510 uses a solvent as a carrier and the 8505 uses water as a carrier.

Available in a ready to use version, or an ultra concentrated version. The ultra concentrated version is mixed with 4 gallons of distilled water prior to application. Two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet with a sprayer, roller or brush.

SILOXA-TEK® 8500

If you are not worried about stain resistance but want all the benefits of the 8505 the Siloxa-Tek 8500 is the best concrete sealer to use. The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a water repellent and it is able to resist deicing salt damage (spalling, pitting, cracking).

 

The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is our favorite product to treat nearly any application. The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a water-based penetrating sealer that leaves a natural finish, meaning it will not change the look or appearance of the concrete.

The 8500 is used to protect concrete from deicing salts, airbone salts, and salt water.  If concrete is left unsealed it can result in spalling, pitting and cracking. The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is able to resist deicing salt damage and keep concrete strong and waterproof. It also reduces efflorescence and organic growth like mold and mildew.

Available in a ready to use version, or an ultra concentrated version. The ultra concentrated version is mixed with 4 gallons of distilled water prior to application. Two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet (the second coat is applied immediately after the first coat while the first coat is still wet) with a sprayer, roller or brush.

LITHI-TEK® 9500

A penetrating concrete densifier, hardener and waterproofer. Only used on poured concrete substrates to increase the strength and repel water

Commonly used on basements, driveways and patios, the 9500 is the most cost effective concrete sealer we offer.
In basements the Lithi-Tek 9500 is best used on new concrete or used preventatively on concrete that has never had any moisture issues. On driveways and patios the Lithi-Tek 9500 is best used to repel water and resist mold and mildew growth. Lithi-Tek 9500 can only be used on poured concrete substrates and concrete that has never been stained or dyed.
Lithi-Tek 9500 is concentrated and needs to be mixed with distilled water prior to application. One part Lithi-Tek 9500 is mixed with 4 parts water. Two coats are applied wet-on-wet (the second coat is applied immediately after the first coat) with either a sprayer or roller.

LITHI-TEK® 4500

Best used as a primer before using a concrete sealer or during the concrete floor polishing process if a polished concrete floor finish is desired.

 

The Lithi-Tek 4500 is a penetrating lithium silicate based concrete densifier that can make concrete up to 50% stronger. Lithium based silicates penetrate deeper and work better than traditional sodium silicate based densifiers. The 4500 can also be used as a primer on poured concrete substrates before using a concrete sealer. In addition to making the concrete stronger, the 4500 acts as a bonding agent to increase the adhesion of the subsequent sealer. The 4500 also makes concrete less porous and works great when used in conjunction with a water repellent sealer.

By using the 4500 prior to polishing concrete it will make the concrete harder and will give it more of a shine to resist stains and water damage. If concrete densifier is not used during the polishing process the concrete can wear faster and lose its shine quicker.

Lithi-Tek 4500 is concentrated and needs to be mixed with distilled water prior to application. One part Lithi-Tek 4500 is mixed with 3 parts water. One coat is applied with either a sprayer or roller.
